Social Game Creation Platform Rec Room Launches on Android

Social Game Creation Platform Rec Room Launches on Android

Wanna hang out with people and make games and hats and stuff while you’re doing it? Well that’s sort of the idea behind Rec Room, which has just launched globally on Android.

The platform has already been available in a whole bunch of other places – iOS, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PC via Steam and VR – so it’s nice to see that it’s finally come to Android.

You can just hang out and mess about if you want, playing weird and wonderful games made by the platform’s community. Or you can jump into the Maker Pen and create your own.

It all looks kinda bonkers and cool and a bit adorable as well. And making your own games sounds like a better way to waste your time than staring at a screen and matching colorful blobs with other colorful blobs.

If you want to give Rec Room a go, you can click here to download it from the Play Store. It’s free, there are IAP, and that’s the end of this news story.
