Halo Meets Portal PvP Shooter Splitgate Could be Heading to Android

After the announcement last month that Warframe was heading to mobile, and with Apex Legends Mobile not that far away, it looks like the next home shooter coming to Android could well be Splitgate.

The game has been doing pretty well on Xbox, PlayStation and PC recently, and its developer has revealed that Switch and mobile versions of the game are something it’s seriously considering for the future. Which is pretty neat.

The game looks a lot like Unreal Tournament with portals. Lots of violence and shooting, with some extra zipping-through-movable-gates thrown in. Here’s a trailer that explains that better.

This was all revealed in a Twitch Q&A session, which you can check out right here. It’s not a surprise that devs are looking to take their shooters out into the mobile world, what with the success of Call of Duty: Mobile.

We don’t have any other information to share with you right now – y’know, like release dates or platforms or whether this is definitely going to happen, but it’s still pretty cool.

What do you think? Want another AAA shooter on mobile? Prefer playing idle clicker games? Don’t even have a phone? Let us know in the comments section.
